I'm not trying to improve the design of Darth Vader here, just having fun giving it a modern make-over.

My list of goals for this design:
-Evoke modern visual design sensibilities
-Still be recognizable as Darth Vader
-Don't ruin the original design with unnecessary additional complexity. (the panel lines in the upper helmet dome are pushing it)
-Look believable as a real piece of equipment.
-Look cool
-Craft goal: Complete a full high quality 3D model of the design. (using Modo)
-Craft goal: Complete high quality 3D renders.
